Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a matinee film screening of The Right To Read, a documentary about literacy instruction in the United States. Executive produced by beloved Reading Rainbow star LeVar Burton, the film begs the question: Is early literacy instruction—and by extension “The Right to Read”—a Civil Rights issue, and if so, are some students being left behind?

You are also invited to stay for discussion after if you wish. Light refreshments served.
